As a teacher, Edward Simoneau used Minecraft to have students redesign their school. Edward then used his passion to serve within Coachella Valley USD as Ed Tech Coordinator. Edward has a major role in the district's management of over 18,000 student iPads. In addition to device deployment, Edward’s focus is to plan professional development that supports the needs of students and teachers in preparing for the Common Core and building a 21st century learning environment. Edward has presented at ISTE, CUE, Fall CUE, CETPA, and other educational technology events.
