I am passionate about Curriculum and Instruction and preparing new teachers to be effective especially in urban settings. My goal is to change the way teachers teach, one teacher at a time.
This years personal professional development focus in understanding how the brain works. This session will connect pedagogy, Game Based Learning, and brain research so teachers can better understand how to frame learning for optimum access, retention, and engagement.
I am currently conducting action research on using mobile devices in coaching new teacher as a conduit for constructing and developing more reflective and meaningful pedagogical practices.
I had the honor of representing CalStateTEACH in Gallway, Ireland, and CUE
Northern California 2015. SOTF is my favorite conference. I consider it an honor to present here with such incredible educators.
