Creative Common Core
Teaching for the Common Core is all about building skills. The way we build skills in our classroom is with fun activities with clever integration of technology. We'll show you how any skill or topic can be more awesome - whether it's research skills, or writing better sentences, or learning how to analyse media and complex texts - through the use of simple tools like Google Draw and free online assessment tools! You will leave with a set of infinitely customisable forms that cover a range of Common Core skills, and can be used in any content area with any student. We will talk about the latest research about learning and put those principles into practice in a fun, creative, and innovative environment.
