This academy will show you how to make the most of your iPad. The iPad changes the way teachers and students create, learn, share. A major focus will be on applications that can be used in the classroom to engage and ignite student learning and creativity. We will helpyou find some of the best educational Apps available, including Apps for creating content and media! Be ready to take your teaching and learning to another level. Participants will receieve an Ipad Air 2 wifi only 16 GB. Bring your own laptop. BYOD

This workshop is designed to teach you how to use the Chromebook and Chrome Browser. This academy will harness your collaboration and creation power while exploring foundational concepts, such as habits of mind and mathematical practices. These core ideas are foundational to the Common Core State state Standards and create limitless possibilities. This is 3 hours to support your own projects to help with instruction.

- Recognize the educational features to your Chromebook
- Recognize the educational features to your Chrome browser
- Utilize Extensions and Apps
- Design an efficient setup in Google Drive
- Interact with Google Docs, Presentations, and Drawing
- Manage the Chromebook and Chrome Browser Environment

Participants who complete the event are given access to the Google Workshops for Educators Network, an online community focused on supporting educators as they learn more about the power of Google to drive student learning. Ready to try flying some drones? Do you have what it takes to earn your stripes? Either way come learn some coding skills through critical thinking, collaboration, creativity and communication through group coding activities. We will be learning some programming skills to code drones to fly out mini missions. By the end, you'll be saying... "I feel the need...the need for speed." All coding abilities are welcomed!

Get your Sphero driver's license and launch RBL in your classroom (Robot Based Learning). Participants will learn how to program Sphero and complete a sequence of challenges to develop and celebrate their coding skills.
