Common Chrome Academy 101
This workshop is designed to teach you how to use the Chromebook and Chrome Browser. This academy will harness your collaboration and creation power while exploring foundational concepts, such as habits of mind and mathematical practices. These core ideas are foundational to the Common Core State state Standards and create limitless possibilities. This is 3 hours to support your own projects to help with instruction. 
Learning Objectives:
- Recognize the educational features to your Chromebook
- Recognize the educational features to your Chrome browser
- Utilize Extensions and Apps
- Design an efficient setup in Google Drive
- Interact with Google Docs, Presentations, and Drawing
- Manage the Chromebook and Chrome Browser Environment
- Create Instructional connections to CCSS, Habits of Mind, 21 st Century Skills, and College and Career Readiness
Audience: K - 12 Teachers, Administrators, Professional Developers. Participants need to bring their own laptop. BYOL

Google Workshop for Educators (Beginner/Intermediate)
Brought to you by CUE, the producers of the Google Teacher Academy, the nationally acclaimed Google Workshop for Educators (GWE) introduces participants to innovative ways Google tools can be used in education. A full day of fast-paced presentations and hands-on activities includes experience with advanced search techniques, collaborative web-based applications, and inspirational instructional strategies. Google Certified Teachers share ways they've implemented tools such as Google Docs, Google Maps, Google Sites, and... even more. Either way come learn some coding skills through critical thinking, collaboration, creativity and communication through group coding activities.
